About Us

The Hardees in my neighborhood has an ad that features a 3 patty meat/cheese/bacon megalith with a slogan saying “Nobody high-fives after eating tofu.”  Umm… no disrespect, Hardees, but we would like to respectfully disagree.

Killer Tofu was started in the summer of 2011. Our specialty is vegan and vegetarian American food (check out the sample menu section for ideas). We provide personal chef services (where we come to your house and cook for you), personal classes (where we teach you how to make a vegetarian/vegan dish or techniques to use when working with specific ingredients), and small party catering. We love use local, organic, seasonal and sustainable produce as much as we can, and you can frequently find Ian perusing local farmer’s markets for the best local produce.

Our passion is to demonstrate the wide variety of flavors and textures that the vegetable world has to offer. We are accommodating of dietary needs, in terms of nutritional concerns and food allergies.
